MADISON -- The Tygart Valley and Belington-Barbour County All-Star teams were eliminated from the Little League 10-12-year-old state tournament on Saturday.
Tygart Valley dropped a 13-3 verdict to Fairmont at Chapmanville, while Belington-Barbour County fell to Madison, 12-3, in a contest held in Madison.
Today's contests include Hurricane vs. Huntington in a battle of undefeated Mountaineer Division squads, with the victor moving to Tuesday's championship round.
The loser faces Central Greenbrier for the other spot in the finals.
In the Herd Division, Mineral County battles Barboursville in the winner's bracket finale.
The loser will face Charleston Central for the other berth in the championship round.
