Tucker gets past Cougars

Highlanders rally to best TV

PARSONS -- Jared Reall has two first-half touchdowns to lead Tucker County to a 20-7 win over East Hardy Friday night in Potomac Valley Conference action at R.H Armstrong Memorial Field at Class of 1984 Alumni Stadium.

Reall rumbled in from five yards out with 7:45 left in the first quarter to give the Mountain Lions a 6-0.

He tacked on a 9-yard TD run just 2 minutes into second quarter to extend the advantage to 14-0.

Garrett Wilfong returned an interception with 1:29 left in the half to make it 20-0.

The Cougars got on the board with just 1:10 left in the game when quarterback Brayden Gregory scored from five yards out.

Tucker County (3-0) remains home next Friday to face Gilmer County.

Webster 34, TV 33

MILL CREEK -- Isaac Snyder's 12-yard run with 1:05 left in regulation helped Webster County rally for a 34-33 win over Tygarts Valley Friday night at Bulldog Field.

Jaxon Drennen had gave the Buldogs a 33-27 lead on an 18-yard run with 4:44 to play but the two-point conversion failed.

Drennen rushed for two scores and threw another to Adam Woods for Tygarts Valley, which led 27-7 in the third quarter after a 26-yard TD run by Woods.

Issac Cutilp had 207 yards rushing and two scores for the Highlanders, who are now 3-0 on the season.

The Bulldogs (0-3) remain home next Friday to face East Hardy.
