Lady Vikings fall in overtime at East Hardy
Tinnell fires in 21 points for Lady Cougars

BAKER -- Brooklyn Tinnell fired in 21 points as Class A, No. 8 East Hardy outlasted Petersburg, 49-45, in overtime on Thursday night.
The Lady Vikings had rallied from a 26-18 halftime deficit to force overtime, outscoring the Lady Cougars 13-5 in the third frame.
Both teams netted eight markers in the fourth quarter as the game entered the extra session tied at 43-43.
Chloe Miller chipped in 10 points for East Hardy, which was making its season debut and returns to action Saturday at Ritchie County.
Miley Tingler bucketed 17 points and Shyane Tawney 12 for Petersburg.
The Lady Vikings (2-1) visit No. 2 Tucker County on Tuesday.
