Tiger wrestlers open season at Ritchie County

ELLENBORO -- Elkins High School opened the season Saturday at Ritchie County.

The Tigers competed in six dual meets, defeating Buffalo (36-18) and Gilmer County (36-24).

Tucker Twigg and Chiron Wing each went 6-0 on the day for Elkins.

Logan Stewart was 5-1 and Isaac Workman 4-2.

Other Tigers competing included Xavier Workman (3-3), Kayden Thornhill (2-4), Brennan Daniels (2-4) and Kayden Thornhill (2-4).

Elkins will compete in the Morse Reese Memorial Duals Saturday at Greenbrier East High School.
