MT. STORM -- Tygarts Valley used a big fourth quarter to pull away for a 44-39 win over Union on Tuesday evening.
The Lady Bulldogs trailed 32-31 after three quarters before outscoring the Lady Tigers, 13-7, in the decisive final frame.
Summer Lewis-Smith tossed in 16 points to pace Tygarts Valley. Sarah Defibaugh chipped in nine.
Chanelle Sutton had 11 and Bailey Casteel 10 for Union (2-2).
The Lady Bulldogs (2-1) entertain Braxton County at 5 p.m. Saturday.

HAMBLETON -- Mackenna Evans, Raven Matthews and Mayah Gross all hit for 16 points apiece to lift Class A, No. 1 Tucker County to a 59-46 victory over Petersburg on Tuesday night.
Miley Tingler had a game-high 24 points for the Lady Vikings.
Aydon Mayfield chipped in nine points.
The Lady Mountain Lions built a 16-10 lead after one quarter and carried a 30-24 lead into the intermission.
Tucker County led 48-35 after three quarters and each team scored 11 in the final frame to set the final score.
Petersburg (2-2) will host Union on Friday in the Petersburg Tip Off Tournament.
The Lady Mountain Lions (4-0) travel to Southern (Md.) on Thursday.
