GLENVILLE -- Kaelyn Mullins went 4 for 4 and drove in three runs to lead Gilmer County to a 9-1 win over Tygarts Valley on Thursday night.
Kailen Yokum plated Alyssa Swecker with a single in the first as the Lady Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead.
The Lady Titans answered with two runs in each of the first and second innings and tacked on four more in the fourth.
They added a single run in the bottom of the fifth to end the game due to the mercy rule.
Swecker and Addie Riddle each doubled for Tygarts Valley, while Emily Smith and Lilly Lanham also collected hits.
Addison Godfrey went the distance to earn the win, allowing five hits, striking out six and walking one.
Swecker was tagged with the loss.
Kenley Hartshorn had an RBI triple for Gilmer County.
On Wednesday, the Lady Bulldogs posted a 16-1 home win over Pocahontas County, erupting for 12 runs in the fourth inning to end the game early due to the mercy rule.
Yokum drove in four runs on three hits, including a three-run inside-the-park-homer to lead Tygarts Valley at the plate. Hallie Ellis also went 4 for 4 for three RBIs, Smith had three hits and an RBI, Riddle two hits and two RBIs and Swecker a pair of safeties.
Addison Hamrick had an RBI triple for the Lady Warriors.
Ellis went all four innings to earn the win, giving up three hits, striking out five and walking one.
The Lady Bulldogs (3-6) visit Trinity Christian on Monday.
