ELKINS -- Jefferson plated seven runs in the first inning en route to a 12-2 win over Bridgeport Friday night in the Little League 10-12-year-old state tournament finals at Melvin Heckel Fields at River Bend Park.
Jefferson will now meet the winner of Friday's late game between Barboursville and Chapmanville at 11 a.m. today.
Jefferson was the Herd Division runner-up and Bridgeport the Mountaineer Division winner.
