LOST CREEK -- The Elkins High School volleyball team split a pair of matches on Thursday night.
The Lady Tigers dropped a 2-1 (25-20, 17-25, 19-25) verdict to South Harrison, then bounced back to pick up a 2-0 (25-20, 25-18) win over Lincoln.
In Wednesday's home match against Gilmer County, Elkins lost a five-set contest, winning the first two sets, 25-19, 25-22, but the Lady Titans took the final three sets by scores of 23-25, 15-25 and 13-15.
The EHS junior varsity squad fell in two sets, 8-25 and 21-25.
The Lady Tigers return to action next Thursday against Lincoln.
