DAVIS — Tygarts Valley recorded a win over Tucker County Tuesday at the Canaan Valley Resort Golf Club.

The Bulldogs finished with a 130 compared to the Mountain Lions’ 139.

Tucker County’s Nathan Davis was low medalist with a 40.

Owen Bell carded a 42 to lead TV.

Alijah Row-Sponaugle added a 44, Mason Phillips a 44, Parker Bell a 50 and Cooper Markley a 51.

Andrew Simmons chipped in a 44 and Carter Wilt a 55 for the Mountain Lions.

On Monday, Tygarts Valley posted a second-place finish in a four-team match Monday at The Raven Golf Club.

The Bulldogs tallied a team-score 193 — five strokes behind Lewis County.

Pocahontas County (227) was third. Richwood competed but didn’t field a full team.

Row-Sponaugle earned low-medalist honors with a 42.

Owen Bell added a 48, followed by Parker Bell (50), Markley (53) and Jakub Rader (65) to round out the Bulldog scoring.

Joseph Davisson had a 44 to lead Lewis County, Warner Burns paced the Warriors (48) and Weston Wayne’s 44 topped Richwood.
