EMS soccer teams defeat Mannington
RACHEL — The Elkins Middle School soccer teams swept Mannington on Wednesday night.
In the boys match, Eli Smith tallied a hat trick for the Hornets in a 4-0 win. Silas Osborne also had a goal.
EMS returns to action Wednesday at home against Central Preston.
Grace Fletcher had a hat trick for the Lady Hornets in their 4-2 victory.
Mannington led 1-0 before Fletcher tallied three straight goals.
Kendall Ware also found the back of the net off a pass from Fletcher for EMS, which improved to 5-0-2 and will visit Robert L. Bland on Monday.
