PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Area resident rising junior golfer Valentina Aguilar turned in a dominant performance this fall, capturing the 2025 U.S. Kids Golf Fall League championship in Pittsburgh in the Girls 11-12 year-old division.

Aguilar, 12, competed in five of the league’s six tournaments, posting three wins and two runner-up finishes to collect 150 points. Her total gave her a 30-point margin over the second-place finisher, who closed with 120.

Aguilar opened the season with victories at Rolling Acres Golf Course (81) and Tam O’Shanter Golf Course (85), followed by a runner-up finish at Slippery Rock Golf Club (81).

She later secured another win at Stoughton Acres Golf Course (86) before closing strong with a second-place 84 in the Tour Championship at The Links at Spring Church.

“The remarkable part about Valentina is not just her talent, but her discipline and work ethic,” said one league official. “She’s always looking for ways to improve.”

Aguilar has also been competing in Virginia and West Virginia leagues, earning similar success. In the 2025 U.S. Kids Spring League in West Virginia, she posted standout rounds of 77 and 76, signaling that her next major milestone — breaking 72 in competition — may be just around the corner.

Known for her focus and determination, Aguilar is committed to lowering her scores and continuing her rise through junior golf ranks.

With her strong finish in Pittsburgh and steady progress across multiple states, Aguilar is quickly establishing herself as a regional contender and a name to watch in junior golf.

Starting at $3.92/week.
