EHS soccer teams fall to East Fairmont
FAIRMONT — Elkins dropped a 2-0 verdict to East Fairmont Thursday night in Big 10 Conference soccer action.
Andrew Harr and Devyn Gerrard netted goals for the Bees, who led 1-0 at the intermission.
Caden Massey had an assist on the night, while Charlie Boyer had four saves in goal.
The Tigers are now 9-2-3 overall and 5-1-2 in Big 10 play. They will return to action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at home against Moorefield.
East Fairmont improved to 12-0-3 and 8-0-2 in league play.
In the girls match, Lily Larnerd recorded a hat trick to lead undefeated East Fairmont to a 6-0 win over Elkins.
Caroline Corwin, Miley Summers and Carly Manchin added goals for the Lady Bees, which is now 14-0-0 and 8-0-0 in the Big 10.
The Lady Tigers are now 3-5-4 overall and 2-3-3 in Big 10 play and will host Moorefield at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
