HAMBLETON — Class A, No. 4 Tucker County cruised to a 67-24 win over regional foe Tygarts Valley on Friday night.

Addi Moats led the Lady Mountain Lions with 14 points.

Emily Smith had seven points for the Lady Bulldogs, who were making their season debut and are slated to host Notre Dame at 4 p.m. today.

Tucker County (2-0) visits Petersburg on Tuesday.

PETERSBURG — Miley Tingler fired in 27 points to lead Petersburg to a 57-42 win over Frankfort on Friday evening.

Shyane Tawney and Sis Cole chipped in 10 points each for the Lady Vikings, who are now 3-1 and will host Tucker County at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Ava Lupettie and Angel Arnold had 15 points each for the Lady Falcons (1-2).

GRAFTON — Izzy Knotts tossed in 15 points as Philip Barbour defeated Nicholas County, 66-45, in the consolation game of the Sam Bord Memorial Tournament on Thursday.

Knotts and teammate Ansley Bolyard, who had seven points on the night, were both named to the all-tournament team.
