UPPER GLADE -- The Tygarts Valley girls picked up a 59-39 win over Webster County on Tuesday night.
Sarah Defibaugh fired in 24 points and Kailen Yokum added 10 for the Lady Bulldogs, who are now 8-2 on the season and have won six straight.
They led 17-1 after one quarter and took a 26-9 lead into the intermission.
Maddie Williams led the Lady Highlanders with 19 points on the night. Elizabeth Case added nine.
Tygarts Valley returns to action Thursday at Pocahontas County in a key regional matchup.
On Saturday, the Lady Bulldogs picked up a 55-40 win at Paw Paw.
Defibaugh had 15 points, Lilly Lanham 11 and Kailen Yokum 10 for Tygarts Valley.
Shayla Tanouye had 26 points for the Lady Pirates.
