Weather forces changes in MEC, prep hoops schedules
BRIDGEPORT — Due to projected snowfall across the region late in the day on Saturday, the Mountain East Conference has announced changes to Saturday’s women’s and men’s basketball schedule.
Due to the projected timing of weather impacts, Glenville State at Concord will play this evening.
All other doubleheaders will remain on Saturday, but will move two hours earlier.

Today: Glenville State at Concord, 5 p.m./7 p.m.
Saturday: Salem at Point Park, noon./2 p.m.
Fairmont State at Frostburg State, noon./2 p.m.
Davis & Elkins at West Virginia Wesleyan, noon/2 p.m.
West Virginia State at Charleston, noon./2 p.m.
Wheeling at West Liberty, noon./2 p.m.
In high school action, the Tucker County boys are still slated to compete in the Magnolia Rotary Challenge this weekend but times have changed.
The Mountain Lions face Magnolia at 7:45 p.m. today and then battle Williamstown at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
All other games in prep sports are subject to change.
