KINGWOOD — Maddy Zirkle scored 13 of her game-high 17 points in the second half as Elkins pulled away for a 50-30 win over Preston Tuesday night in Big 10 Conference action.

The Lady Tigers led 20-12 at halftime but outscored the Lady Knights, 30-18, over the final two quarters.

Mencia Gomez chipped in 14 points in the win.

Camdyn Metheny led Preston with 10 points.

Elkins (6-3, 3-1 Big 10) is slated to visit Lewis County this evening for another Big 10 contest.
