HAMBLETON -- Miley Tingler had 20 points and Karlie DiBenedetto connected on five 3-pointers and finished with 16 points as Petersburg claimed a 49-41 win over Tucker County on Thursday night.
The Lady Vikings led 22-19 at halftime and 40-33 after three quarters.
Mayah Gross had 15 points to lead the Lady Mountain Lions, who are now 15-5 and were slated to host East Hardy on Friday night to close the regular season.
They will be the top seed in the upcoming Class A, Region II tournament and will entertain the winner between Thursday's contest between No. 5 Paw Paw at No. 4 Pendleton County on Wednesday, March 4, with the winner advancing to the state tourney.
Petersburg improved to 13-6 and hosts Pendleton County at 7:30 p.m. today for senior night.
