Tigers drop overtime tilt to Bearcats
GRAFTON — Jacob Moats scored 15 of his game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter and overtime as Grafton claimed a 56-49 win over Elkins Wednesday night in Big 10 Conference action.
The Tigers led 36-29 after three quarters but the Bearcats held a 19-12 scoring edge in the final frame to force the extra session.
Elkins was held without a field goal in overtime.
Dreyton Boggs, Isaiah Nutter and Landon Shreve all had 12 points each for the Tigers,
Tucker Stemple chipped in 18 points for Grafton.
Elkins led 13-10 after one quarter and carried a 24-17 cushion into the intermission break.
The Tigers will host Fairmont Senior at 7:30 p.m. today.
