TV’s Wamsley reaches 1,000 career points

Senior finishes with 20 on the night in 63-47 win at Harman

HARMAN -- Jacob Wamsley scored his 1,000th career point in Tygarts Valley's 63-47 win over Harman on Wednesday night.

The senior finished with a game-high 20 points, hitting the milestone in the first quarter as the Bulldogs raced out to a 27-12 lead.

They took a 38-25 advantage into the halftime break.

Elijah Stanley added 11 points for Tygarts Valley, which is now 6-11 and hosts Clay-Battelle on Friday night, with JV action starting at 6 p.m.

The Panthers were led by Grady Shifflett with a game-high 23 points.
