TENNERTON — Payton Brown had six RBIs as Buckhannon-Upshur blanked Philip Barbour, 16-0, Wednesday in Big 10 Conference action.

Brown had bases-clearing doubles in each of the second and third innings.

Kynnedy Marple, who drove in three on the day, added a two-run double and Maddie Tucker went 3 for 3 with two RBIs, including a run-producing triple for the Lady Bucs.

Braylea Squires, Makenna Marsh and Becca Pastorius had two hits apiece and Zoey Burr and Tucker two RBIs each.

Charity Talbott went all three innings to earn the win, allowing just one hit and fanning four.

Leann Moss had the lone hit for the Lady Colts, who are now 0-4 and venture to Lewis County at 5 p.m. today.

B-U (5-1) remains home today to battle North Marion.
