UPPER GLADE — Tygarts Valley utilized a 12-hit attack to hand Webster County a 14-1 setback on Friday night.
Jacob Wamsley cracked a solo homer and Austin Wilson and Joey Rader collected two RBIs each for the Bulldogs, who erupted for 10 runs in the sixth inning to build on a 4-0 advantage.
Cooper Markley earned the win on the hill, going all six innings and allowing just two hits. He fanned four and walked four.
David Adkinson was saddled with the loss for the Highlanders.
Adkinson and Haden Myers accounted for Webster County’s hits.
Caleb Teter, Wilson and Austin Gear had two hits apiece for Tygarts Valley, which is now 10-5 and will entertain Elkins at noon today.
Clay-Battelle 11, Tucker County 0
BLACKSVILLE — Corey Coen fanned 13 in going all five innings to lead Clay-Battelle to an 11-0 victory over Tucker County on Friday.
Coen gave up three hits and walked just one batter.
Zane Carr was tagged with the loss.
Trey Huggins, Cayden Strosnider and Jaxon Huggins had two RBIs each for the Cee Bees.
Brock Hovatter, Owen Helmick and Evan Witt collected hits for the Mountain Lions, who are now 1-10 and will entertain Tygarts Valley at 6 p.m. Monday.

Tucker County 16, East Hardy 1
PARSONS — Peyton Hicks surrendered just one hit in going all four frames to lead Tucker County to a 16-1 win over PVC foe East Hardy Friday at Camp Kidd.
Nettie Nelson led the Lady Mountains at the plate with three RBIs. Rylee White added three hits.
Taylor McReynolds had the lone hit for the Lady Cougars.
Alexis Baker took the loss on the mound.
Tucker County (2-7) visits Philip Barbour at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
