PHILIPPI — Cam Bennett and Anthony Mosesso combined on a four-inning no-hitter as Philip Barbour cruised to a 16-1 win over Tucker County on Wednesday night.
Bennett went the first 3 2/3 innings, striking out nine and allowing a run, while Mosesso struck out one in finishing in relief.
The Colts erupted for 10 runs in the first inning
Landyn Carpenter had a two-run double to lead the first-inning charge, while Kent Rowan and Slaton Harris collected RBI singles, Robbie Jones and Kale Wolfe RBI sacrifice flies and Keagan Wolfe, Braxton Carpenter and Parker Fincham drew bases-loaded walks.
Philip Barbour tacked on two runs in each of the second, third and fourth innings.

Owen Hart had three hits, Landyn Carpenter and Harris two hits apiece and Nathan Row and Bryson Gould RBIs for the Colts.
Evan Whitt scored a run for the Mountain Lions, who return to action at 5:30 p.m. today at Grafton.
The Colts (8-10) remain home at 5:30 p.m. today to battle North Marion for a Big 10 Conference contest.
WESTON — Trent Stone had a two-run homer as Elkins collected a 6-3 victory over Lewis County Wednesday in Big 10 Conference action.
The Tigers led 2-0 after scoring a pair of unearned runs in the top of the third.
The Minutemen answered in the home-half of the frame on Joel Good’s RBI single.
Jayden Harding then drew a bases-loaded walk in the fourth to give Elkins a 3-1 cushion.
Izaac Crislip’s run-producing single in the fifth cut the lead to 3-2 before the Tigers struck for one run in the sixth on Trevor Hogue’s RBI single and Stone homered to right with Blayne Thompson on board to make it6-2.
Lewis County tacked on an RBI fielder’s choice by Crislip in the bottom of the seventh.
Brady Biller earned the win on the mound, going 3 2/3 innings, allowing one run on four hits and fanning one.
Dyer Barger finished in relief, giving up two runs on six hits and striking out four.
Luke Brown was saddled with the loss in going the first five innings, surrendering three runs (one earned) on four hits with two strikeouts.
Thompson, Barger and Isaac Shepler had two hits apiece for the Tigers, who improved to 7-10 and host Pendleton County at 6 p.m. Friday.
