TENNERTON — Kynnedy Marple and Payton Brown drove in threes runs each to lead Buckhannon-Upshur to a 16-2 win over Fairmont Senior Tuesday in Big 10 action.

Marple had an RBI triple and two-run triple for the Lady Bucs, while Maddie Tucker added two hits and two RBIs and Madi Knabenshue a pair of RBIs.

Becca Pastorius went all five innings to earn the win, allowing two hits and striking out eight.

B-U (11-5) visits George Washington on Saturday.

Grafton 10, Elkins 7

GRAFTON — Grafton plated five runs in the second inning en route to a 10-7 win over Elkins Thursday in Big 10 action.

Ruth Horne, Lydia Wildroudt and Victoria Holley had two RBIs each for the Lady Bearcats.

Isabella Hayhurst went 3 for 4.

Meria Tarley led the Lady Tigers at the plate, going 3 for 4, including an RBI double and run-producing single. Hailey Riffle added three hits, Maddie Lambert a pair of safeties and Addison Carr two RBIs.

Elkins travels to Tygarts Valley this evening.

Lincoln 19, PB 1

PHILIPPI — Three different players had three RBIs each to lead Lincoln to a 19-1 win over Philip Barbour Tuesday in Big 10 action.

Haleigh Hyre, Reese Bennett and Aspemn Dyer all knocked in three for the Lady Cougars.

Sadie Jones earned the win, while Olivia Wilmoth was tagged with the loss.

Payton Holbert had a solo homer for the Lady Colts, who host Preston on Tuesday.
