PHILIPPI — Kale Wolfe allowed just three hits over complete six innings and Landyn Carpenter drove in four runs as Philip Barbour blanked North Marion, 10-0, Thursday in Big 10 play.

Wolfe struck out 11 and walked one.

Carpenter, who was 4 for 4, had a solo homer in the sixth.

Anthony Mosesso added a pair of RBIs for the Colts, who are now 9-10 and travel to Braxton County on Saturday.

FAIRMONT — Charity Talbott struck out 11 as Buckhannon-Upshur picked up a 6-2 win over Fairmont Senior Thursday in Big 10 action.

Talbott went all seven innings, allowing five hits and walking three.

Payton Brown had a pair of RBIs for the Lady Bucs, who are now 18-6 and visit Wheeling Park at 5 p.m. today.

Tygarts Valley 17, Tucker County 2

HUTTONSVILLE — Kailen Yokum collected six RBIs to lift Tygarts Valley to a 17-2 win over Tucker County on Thursday night.

Addie Riddle added four RBIs and Lilly Lanham two for the Lady Bulldogs.

Lanham went all four innings to earn the win, allowing five hits and fanning seven.

Peyton Hicks was tagged with the loss.

Yokum, Lanham and Desiree Watson had three hits apiece for Tygarts Valley, which is now 5-9 and hosts Valley-Wetzel at noon Saturday for a doubleheader.
