Area players to participate in North-South All-Star contest

Buckhannon-Upshur’s Jerin Westfall is a member of the South squad in next month’s all-star game to be held at the South Charleston Community Center.
SOUTH CHARLESTON — Buckhannon-Upshur’s Jerin Westfall and Tucker County’s MaKenna Evans will participate in the North-South Basketball All-Star games next month.
Westfall will suit up for the South squad.
Pendleton County’s Josh Owens and Petersburg’s Kaleb Kuhn will play for the North team.
The remainder of the South squad includes Malcolm Brown (South Charleston), Braylan Dawson (Wirt County), Nate Dixon (Greenbrier East), Braydun Ferris (Tug Valley), Jayce Gum (Princeton), Brody Hamric (Greenbrier East), Colton Heck (Wayne),Taj Joyce (Parkersburg South), Ryan Mann (James Monroe), Harrison Riggs (Spring Valley), Harry Silvis (Parkersburg South), Jase Smith (Bluefield) and Deshad Williams (Capital).
Joining Owens and Kuhn on the North team will be Luke Anderson (Parkersburg Catholic), Hudson Brand (East Fairmont), Kinston Christen (Magnolia), Waylon Colistra (Morgantown), Kris Doleman (Washington), Jesse Kemper (Lewis County), Braylon McGreevy (Keyser), Jeremy Phillips (Frankfort), Jaden Solomon (Doddridge County) and J.D. Williams (Wheeling Park).

Evans will suit up for the North team, along with Arissa Burt (Williamstown), Laken Dawson (Valley Wetzel), Bri Fox (University), Payten Goodwin (Lewis County), Kailee Hammond (East Fairmont), Kenna Keener (Grafton), Della Knight (Hampshire), Bella Miller (Preston), Emma Moore (East Fairmont), Tianna Sanabria (Martinsburg), Rilee Storm (John Marshall) and Payton Trent (Doddridge County).
The South roster will be comprised of Lucie Cline (Parkersburg), Ava Dobbins (Gilmer County), Lauren Flanagan (Parkersburg), Lena Frymier (Gilmer County), Ava Gallion (Huntington), Karson Jones (Nitro), Nunu Pannell (Capital), Kennedy Porter (Parkersburg), Mary Rushworth (Charleston Catholic), LaShawn Sloan (Huntington), Kennedy Stewart (Greenbrier East) and Anna Tolley (Roane County).
The all-star games will be held on June 19 at the South Charleston Community Center and the rosters, which were announced by the West Virginia Athletic Directors Association, are subject to change.
