West Virginia Leviathan to play at Battlers Knob

Football is set to return to the former Alderson Broaddus College as the West Virginia Leviathan is preparing to host home games at Battlers Knob.
The West Virginia Leviathan, an adult amateur football team, are going into their fourth season as an organization and will be playing in the Premier Amateur Football League (PAFL) for the 2026 season. Home games will be at Battlers Knob, formerly Alderson Broaddus College at 101 College Hill Dr, Philippi, WV 26416.
The Leviathan is composed of a variety of players ranging from guys from go have only played high school football to guys who have had the opportunity to play at the D1, D2, D3, and some minor league professional football. The coaching staff is primarily composed of guys who have or are coaching at the high school level some of which have had the opportunity to win a state championship.
The season kicks off with an away game in the TPFL Showcase on May 16 in Wheeling at the Highlands Sports Complex. Home games will be on Saturday May 30, June 13. June 27 and July 11 with the potential for more home games dependent on playoff standings, etc.
Home game kickoffs will be at 4 p.m.
