WEST UNION — The Doddridge Summer Dawgs plated scored six runs in the third inning en route to an 8-3 win over Randolph County Junior Legion on Tuesday night.

Preston Smith, Brentley Watson, Jacob Riddle and Cooper Markley had hits for Randolph County, while Watson and Will Kilgore were credited with RBIs.

Landon Clevenger, Malachi Kelly and Triatan Swiger had RBIs for Doddridge.

Dayne Murphy earned the win, while Cooper Markley was saddled with the loss.

Randolph County (3-5) entertains Buckhannon Post 7 Junior Legion at 6 p.m. Monday at Elkins High School.
