FAIRMONT — The University of Charleston men’s soccer coach Daniel Smee and Fairmont State women’s acrobatics and tumbling coach Danielle Cutri has been named the 2025-26 Mountain East Conference Men’s and Women’s Sports Coaches of the Year, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

In the national poll, the team was ranked fifth, tying the highest ranking in program history. Fairmont State won the quarterfinals meet before falling in the NCATA Semifinals.
