TENNERTON — Kynnedy Marple twirled a five-inning no-hitter as Buckhannon-Upshur picked up a 10-1 victory over Lewis County Wednesday in Big 10 Conference play. BAKER — Shayne Sissler tossed a five-inning no-hit gem to lead defending Class A state champion East Hardy to an 11-0 win over Tygarts Valley on Wednesday night. Sissler struck out eight and didn’t walk a batter. He struck out the side on nine pitches in the fifth to end the game early due to the 10-run mercy rule.
