Delbert Edward Vandevander, 90, of Whitmer, West Virginia, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, Nov. 10, 2025. The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Final rites will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Angilee Whetzel will officiate and interment will follow at the North Fork Cemetery at Riverton, West Virginia. Raymond Price Swecker, 87 of Norton, Virginia, formerly of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully at Holston Valley Medical Center following a medical procedure. He was the husband of the late Georgetta Tabitha Wamsley Swecker for 62 years. Raymond was born in Elkins, West Virginia, to the late Arlen Frank Swecker and the late Mary Magdalene Swecker.
