Merle and Nancy Webley of Elkins will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary, as well as Nancy’s 80th birthday, with a reception hosted by their family from 1-4pm on Saturday, Aug. 27, in the Family Life Center at the Elkins Church of the Nazarene in Gilman.

The couple were married on August 31, 1962 in Redhouse, Maryland.

Mrs. Webley is the daughter of the late H.G. “Peck” and Ruby Calain Vance.

Mr. Webley is the son of the late Blaine and Olive Lee Webley.

They have two sons, Bryan Webley and wife, Debbie, of Elkins and Brennon Webley and wife, Crissy, of Beverly. They also have four grandchildren, Spencer Webley and wife, Carlee, of Philippi, Colleen Kirtley and husband, Chris, of Pinch, Morgan Doerr and husband, Dustin, of Mabie and Scott Webley and wife, Beckie, of Alpena.

The have 6 great-grandsons, Kolbi, Wyatt and Easton Doerr, Greyson and Lane Webley and Brooks Kirtley and one great-granddaughter, Dulaney Webley.

Refreshments will be served at the open house celebration. The couple asks that gifts be omitted but cards would be appreciated.
