Pickleball courts welcomed

Hello from Barbour County! Fall is in the air.   I really enjoy the cool, crisp weather. Prayers go out to all those in North Carolina, Florida and all of those people affected by the hurricanes.  Belington City Park is the new home to some pickleball courts. They are a great addition to the beautiful park and I hope that many people will be able to enjoy them.  Early voting in Barbour County will be taking place at the Barbour County courthouse from Oct. 23 - Nov. 2. Busy day in Barbour County

Hello from Barbour County! This Saturday, Sept. 14, the doors open at 10 a.m. at the Belington Volunteer Fire Department for their annual Fall Bash. Tickets are sold out, but if you didn’t get one, don’t worry! For a price at the door, you can get in, enjoy an awesome meal from Smoke Holler BBQ and participate in floor games and extra prizes, not to mention fellowship with a great group of people. A food give-away in Barbour County takes place every Monday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the Junior Town Hall and every Tuesday and Friday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the Golden Rule in Belington.
