ELKINS — Highland Adventist School students learned more about post-secondary education at a recent school assembly.

HAS faculty members shared their experiences as university students. Each teacher encouraged the H.A.S. students to keep going with their education past high school and to work to earn specialized certifications or degrees that would give them an advantage in the job market.

“We are glad we can participate in promoting post-secondary education through our state’s #collegeboundwv program at cfwv.com,” HAS Principal Cheryl Jacko said. “We believe advanced education and training are important to further develop our state’s workforce and will also prepare our students for better paying careers.”

Starting at $3.92/week.
