ELKINS — The Elkins Purple Majesties held their monthly luncheon at the Steer Steakhouse on the Beverly Five Lane this week.

Carole Helmick welcomed members and guests to the meeting where business was discussed while those attending enjoyed a lunch consisting of salad, baked steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and carrot cake.

Tickets were drawn and members received gifts at the event. Garden signs, lanterns, and red hat articles were given to the members in attendance. The hostesses for the luncheon were Sonja Corbin and Beverly Dennison. The group socialized and enjoyed each other’s company during the event.
