After closing in March to comply with the coronavirus restrictions, Artists at Work has reopened.
After closing in March to comply with the coronavirus restrictions, Artists at Work is reopening. Summer hours will be 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through August.
"We are excited to be 'back in business' and to see our local friends," said Marjory Moses, current president of the artists cooperative.
In the interest of public health and safety, the gallery will have guidelines in place that limit the number of people who can shop at one time and requiring masks. Guidelines are posted on the shop doors.
"We look forward to the time when we can be fully and freely open like we were before COVID-19," Moses continued, "but in the meantime, we hope our patrons will understand and bear with us as we navigate the upcoming months. Our members haven't stopped creating, so we are looking forward to introducing new work like the pieces pictured by our newest artist: LeeAnn Brown and Heirloom Footstools."
Artists at Work is located at 329 Davis Ave. in Elkins.
