Elkins Mayor Jerry Marco signed proclamations for National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month Wednesday at Elkins City Hall. Organizations in attendance included Allegheny Highlands Parents as Teachers, Tygart Valley United Way, Centers Against Violence, Randolph County FRN, MountainHeart Community Services, Youth Health Services, Randolph County Schools and the Department of Health and Human Resources.
