The commencement speaker was Philip Barbour 2011 graduate Sarah McCauley Vismans, who was a standout athlete for the Lady Colts. She went on to excel as a member of the West Virginia University cross country and track and field teams.

Also addressing the class of 2022 were Philip Barbour Principal Brandon Antion, Assistant Principal Joseph Bowen, Superintendent of Barbour County Schools Jeffrey Woofter, Senior Class President Graylin Floyd, Student Council President Isabella McNaboe and Student Council Vice President Audrey Williams.

Senior class song leader Jaylan Weese performed the class song and led the graduates in singing the school’s alma mater.

The Pride of Barbour County the Philip Barbour Band, under the direction of Victor Iapalucci, also performed selections before the ceremony, along with the processional and recessional.
