Barbour Grand Jury indicts 11

PHILIPPI — A Barbour County Grand Jury meeting Monday returned indictments against 11 individuals, on alleged crimes including burglary, grand larceny and sexual abuse.

Jordan M. Bodkins, 21, of Philippi was indicted on one count of soliciting a minor via computer with overt act to engage in sexual activity with a minor; two counts of sexual assault in the third degree; and 19 counts of use of obscene matter with intent to seduce a minor.

Randall W. Kisamore II, 36, of Philippi, was indicted on one count of sexual abuse in the first degree and one count of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian.

Michael P. Crites, 42, of Elkins was indicted on one count of entry of a vehicle; one count of grand larceny; and one count of attempted or fraudulent use of a credit card.

William Z. Smith, 27, of Philippi, was indicted on one count of burglary and one count of destruction of property.

Christopher G. Lyle, 40, of Junior, was indicted on one count of entry of a vehicle; one count of grand larceny; and one count of driving revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol — third offense.

Lacrisha L. Lamb, 41, of Belington, was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Steven J. Swiger, 24, of Junior, was indicted on two counts of destruction of property and one count of disorderly conduct.

Patricia A. Noel, 41, of Belington, was indicted on one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and one count of failure to appear.

Harley B. Croston, 37, of Philippi, was indicted on one count of possession of a stolen vehicle.

David M. Swauger, 36, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of fleeing in a vehicle in a manner showing a reckless indifference to the safety of others; one count of grand larceny; one count of possession of a stolen vehicle; one count of fleeing on foot; one count of destruction of property; one count of obstructing an officer; one count of driving while license revoked; and one count of no insurance.

Brooks Ray, 39, of Belington, was indicted on three counts of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm; three counts of being a prohibited person in possession of a concealed firearm; one count of driving while license revoked — third offense; and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
