Speaking during the ceremony were 2024 valedictorian was Alexandra Michelle Barrickman, and salutatorian Lauren Elizabeth D’Angelo.

“As we close the curtain on our last high school performance, it’s only natural to feel a whirlwind of emotions,” D’Angelo said.”One thing we never saw coming was COVID-19. Because of COVID, we faced many hard knocks, but through it all,we persevered.”

“I remember graduating kindergarten back in 2012,” Barrickman said. “In that moment, today seemed so far away. After all, 12 years was a long time to someone who had only been alive for five. As time progressed, it started to seem more realistic.

“In life there will also be something in front of us,” she said. “We cannot live in the future, but we cannot live in the past either … I urge you to live every day with intentionality.”
