High Winds Damage

A weeping willow tree at the end of Baxter Street in Elkins suffered wind damage during the overnight hours on Thursday. Two sizable pieces of the tree snapped off and landed on the ground.
West Virginia Department of Highways workers repair a sign that was damaged by wind overnight on Thursday. The sign was located above the intersection of Davis and Randolph Avenue in Elkins, next to Little Caesars Pizza.
