MORGANTOWN — West Virginia and Duke are set to take part in a premier non-conference matchup as part of the Greenbrier Tip-off on Friday, Nov. 14.

The contest will take place at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) members and season ticket holders will receive a presale link to tickets on Aug. 20.

General public tickets will go on sale the following day, on Aug. 21.

The game will be played in The Greenbrier’s Colonial Hall with a tipoff time still to be determined.

The game is part of the Greenbrier Tip-Off that also includes an already announced four-game event scheduled for Nov. 21-23, which features four power conference men’s programs in Butler, Virginia, Northwestern and South Carolina.

Intersport, a Chicago-based sports marketing and events agency, is the owner and operator of the Greenbrier Tip-Off and will manage all games under the event umbrella, including the West Virginia-Duke contest.

This will be just the second-ever women’s basketball game at The Greenbrier, having seen Radford and Navy meet in the first contest last November.

Duke was 29-8 last year, finishing seventh in the final AP poll while reaching the Elite Eight of the NCAAs. The Blue Devils took home the ACC Tournament title last season after finishing in third of the conference’s regular season standings.

West Virginia and Duke have met two times in program history, doing so in back-to-back seasons in 1995 and 1996.

The Blue Devils were ranked No. 16 in both meetings and handed the Mountaineers losses in both contests.

Starting at $3.92/week.
