BEVERLY — Officials expect to see an uptick in patients with Alpenglow Dental’s new, spacious location on the Beverly Five-Lane.
Now located at 239 South Hazelwood Road, just three minutes from Beverly, Alpenglow Dental is in a “beautiful” and “much more up to date” space, general dentist and practice owner Dr. Ashley Swecker, DDS, said.
“I wanted to make sure our space was clean, modern, fresh,” Swecker told The Inter-Mountain. “Kind of have this industrial, rustic design. Patients are just loving, and loving the open space. The open feel. That’s the feedback and vibe I’ve been getting all week.”
Alpenglow Dental opened in their new location on March 9. Swecker said this new space was “meant to be.’
“When we purchased the practice (Alpenglow Dental), we knew we were planning on moving it eventually,” Swecker said. “When the opportunity arose and this property came for sale totally privately, it was a residence previously. It was not a commercial property and I just saw the vision that this was to be our new home.”
Swecker explained that she wanted the practice to have a space of its own that was not attached to other buildings and had a bit of green space.
The new location offers a large waiting area with a private room for consultations, such as treatment and payment plans. Swecker explained that, with this new space, her office is able to have a “kid nook” for her and her husband Matt’s two sons, Gatlin and Jackson.
“This is very much a family oriented business,” Swecker said. “So my family is very much a part of this. It’s been a family project from the beginning.”
In the treatment space, Alpenglow Dental offers eight operatories, all outfitted with brand new equipment. Swecker also pointed out that each operatory has a window that looks out to the building’s porch and towards the mountains in the distance. She said the front porch is a great place for family members to wait and enjoy the view while their loved ones are in their appointment.
The location also has a space to perform 3-D imagining, which Swecker stated is unique to their practice as they offer two-dimensional and three-dimensional imaging. The new spot also allows for Alpenglow Dental to continue its in-house laboratory work.
Swecker explained there are technically more than eight operatories to make space for another doctor.
“This office was built out to grow,” Swecker said. “So we intend on bringing in, at some point hopefully, another doctor, another hygienist, and to keep on growing, because our community has lost providers over the last few years and we’re trying to increase access to care and bring people in.”
Swecker also noted that patients enjoy the location due to the parking lot’s easy access with safe entry and exit. She stated that the space is “accommodating from the second you pull into the parking lot area.”
When asked if she expected the practice to see more patients in the new location, Swecker said yes, as they were already receiving calls. She added that she believed Alpenglow Dental had received around 15 calls from new patients on March 12 alone.
“We’re excited. I love that I practice in my hometown,” Swecker said. “I love that I get to take care of people who have given to me my whole life, and giving back to them… I feel so blessed to be here and (I’m) doing this and serving our community, and the surrounding communities.”
