ELKINS - The Randolph County Commission agreed to conduct a deed search for one of the Randolph County Emergency Squad's stations during its most recent meeting During the meeting, Commission President David Kesling made a motion to do a search in order to transfer the deed of Station 1 to the Randolph County Ambulance Authority. ELKINS — The Ambassador Baptist Church is seeking funds to build a new facility at its current location in Highland Park. Since 2007, when the church started Ambassador Ministries, a nonprofit, it has continued to grow and the ministry has found it necessary to construct a new facility in order to meet its needs, officials said. PARKERSBURG – An emergency blood shortage has been reported by the American Red Cross because of an "alarming drop" in supplies, the agency said. The blood supply dropped about 25% in June, the Red Cross said.
