Alice Lange McDonald

She was born Jan. 4, 1944, at Fremont, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert William and Jane Blakemore Lange.

On Dec. 18, 1965, she was united in marriage to Leamon Keith McDonald, who preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2021.

She is survived by one son, Robert McDonald and wife, Rhodora, of Tallmadge, Ohio; two daughters, Janet Lee McDonald and fiance, Claude, of Quebec, Canada, and Brenda Mae Meehan of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia; and one brother, Blake Lange of Silver Springs, Maryland.

Additional survivors include grandchildren, Crystal and Keith McDonald, Paul Lamarche and Heather Angle; and great-grandchildren, Dominic Gaskill, Nolan Angle and Emalie Angle.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Lange.

Alice attended the schools of Parkersburg and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ravenna Church of Christ and formerly attended the Belington Church of Christ in Belington, where she taught Sunday school and was very active with all the church functions.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the funeral hour, when final rites will be conducted from the Funeral Home Chapel with the Evangelist Michael Phillips officiating. Interment will then follow in the Knights of the Pythias Cemetery at Mt. View near Junior.
