Nancy Pat Beery

She was born Aug. 17, 1938, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Jennings Brown Hansford and the late Mildred Louise Blosser Hansford.

She was twice married.

First to Robert Paul “Bob” Jones, who passed away in 1964. She later married Albert Fred Beery, who survives at Hambleton, West Virginia.

Also surviving is one brother, Dave Hansford of Hambleton; one sister, Sue Wolfe of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; two grandchildren, John “J.W.” Jones and wife, Amanda, of Elkins, and Brad Thompson and wife, Christy, of North Carolina; and three great-grandchildren, Kourtney Jones, Kelcey Thompson and Cameron Thompson.

Also preceding her in death were one son, John Paul Jones; a brother, Rodney “Red” Hansford; and a sister, Marlyn Cimino.

Pat was a graduate of Elkins High School and was a homemaker.

She was a Methodist by Faith.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman.

Interment will follow.

The family request memorial contributions be made to West Virginia Caring Hospice Center, 169 Diamond St., Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Pat.
