Pattie J. Moore

She was born Aug. 25, 1940, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Joseph and Madge Wamsley Stalnaker.

On Sept. 13, 1958, at Elkins, she was married to James R. Moore, who preceded her in death Jan. 15, 2014.

Surviving are daughters, Tammy Ogden (Conley), Donna Woods (Burley), Becky Belt (Ron) and Barbara O’Dell; and one son, Jimmy Moore (Buffy).

Sons-in-law, Roy Conrad and Tony Chester; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Bernard; three sisters-in-law, Nancy, Carol and Jeanie; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Also preceding her in death were two daughters, Vicki Conrad and Debbie Chester; and son-in-law, James O’Dell.

Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and was formerly employed at Reidboard Brothers and Beta Shoe Company.

She enjoyed gardening, watching westerns, playing dominoes and swinging on her porch.

She was a member of the Gospel Light Tabernacle.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon, Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. A. H. Belt and Rev. Conley Ogden officiating.

Interment will follow in the Elkins Memorial Gardens on the Country Club Road.
