Donald Lee “Sam” Higgins, 78, a resident of Beverly, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. Friends will be received from 10 until 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, at The Refuge Church near Gilman. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, from the church. Pastor Kevin Gainer will officiate. Interment will follow at Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman.
