Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon, Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Dwight Dee “Gus” Cooper, 70, a life-long resident of Harman, passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 3, 2024 in the West Virginia Caring Hospice Center in Elkins. He was born May 20, 1953, at Harman, a son of the late Lillian Gae Cooper and the late Roosevelt Raines Cooper. On Feb. 17, 1979 at Oakland, Maryland, he was united in marriage to Janet White Cooper, who survives at Harman.
