Betty Jo Patton, 91, a resident of Elkins, passed away Friday evening, Dec. 26, 2025, at Mountain Memories Assisted Living & Retirement Center. The family would like to thank the staff of Mountain Memories and W.V. Caring Hospice for the excellent care provided to Betty. Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Ray Canfield, 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, at 5:45 a.m. at the Elkins Regional Convalescent Center (ERCC). Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today, from the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Kevin Gainer officiating.
