Tigers, Colts set to face fellow ranked foes
ELKINS — The playoff picture should start to become clearer this evening in high school football.
Elkins and Philip Barbour will face fellow ranked teams in looking to move up in the WVSSAC ratings.
The 10th-rated Tigers (5-1) venture to No. 8 North Marion in a Class AAA showdown, while the Class AA, third-rated Colts (4-2) entertain No. 10 Petersburg (5-1).
Elkins defeated Grafton last Thursday at Tiger Stadium behind the running of Logan Beam and Jaden Hatfield, who each rushed for over 100 yards and combined for three scores.
Xavier Workman added a 38-yard touchdown reception from Nate Sauerwein and Tony Silvester a rushing score.
